Job summary
McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor on major power and utilities projects. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring delivery to high standards on site.

Qualifications
- Experience as Site Engineer or Section Engineer
- Civil Engineering or construction project experience
- Strong setting out and surveying capabilities
- Good understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying activities on site
- Managing technical queries and site issues
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications
- Supporting quality inspections and testing plans
- Producing as-built records and site documentation
- Coordinating with site teams and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress and reporting project updates
