Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer for a groundworks project in Ealing. The role focuses on accurate setting out, surveying, quality control, and coordinating subcontractors to meet project specs.

The ideal candidate has solid UK RC Frame and Groundworks experience, with proficiency in surveying instruments and a strong understanding of QA and safety documentation. Rates are negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience as Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor.
• Minimum 3 years' UK experience in RC Frame & Groundworks, including Basement Construction.
• Proficient with surveying instruments and experienced in setting out.
• Good understanding of method statements, risk assessments, QA procedures and site documentation.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out and surveying for groundworks and RC Frame including basement construction.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate site records.
• Assist with the supervision and coordination of subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
