Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Site Engineer to work with our Ground Engineering Team on site in Kent. We deliver EPC projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and technical excellence. You will support site activities across infrastructure projects and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include setting out, reviewing drawings, RAMS, and maintaining records. The role requires CSCS and a proven track record in civil engineering, with excellent communication across

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required for all roles.
• 3+ years of proven civil engineering project experience.
• Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work.
• Experience with surveying and CAD techniques.
• Ability to use setting out equipment including total station.
• Capability to communicate with management, clients and teams.
• Understanding commercial issues in large scale construction.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Promote health, safety and environmental standards with the SHQE team.
• Ensure accurate setting out methods on site.
• Review drawings and specifications for completeness and raise missing information.
• Carry out quality checks and adhere to procedures.
• Communicate effectively with foremen and supervisors.
