Job summary

Matchtech is assisting a client in the Defence & Security sector with a Site Engineer (Geotechnical) placement for a Plymouth project. The contract role focuses on maintaining technical compliance, safety, and quality to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires setting out, surveying, RAMS writing, and strong project-management skills, with flexibility for weekend work as needed on the project.

Qualifications

• Academic qualification (Level 3 or above, such as HNC, HND, Degree).
• Proficiency in survey equipment (GPS, Total Station) for Setting Out & Survey.
• Experience in geotechnical applications such as drilling, grouting, anchor installation, inspection, and testing.
• Awareness of commercial processes.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and the ability to write RAMS.
• Proven people and project management skills.
• Good standard of IT skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and out of hours on a rota basis to suit project requirements.

Responsibilities
