Carrington West is seeking a Site Engineer for civil engineering and energy schemes across the UK. You will join a delivery team, provide technical support, and travel as required with lodge accommodation arranged.

The role focuses on setting out works, ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality across multiple projects. Ideal candidates will have a civil background, familiarity with drawings/ITPs, and the ability to work with contractors, managers and the wider delivery team to keep projects on

Qualifikationen

• Experience setting out civil engineering works.
• Good understanding of QA and site inspection processes.
• Experience preparing or working with ITPs.
• Strong ability to read drawings and specs.
• Experience with engineering surveys and site records.

Aufgaben

• Set out civil works and maintain dimensional control on site.
• Check levels, coordinates, benchmarks, and setting-out data.
• Conduct engineering surveys and maintain site records.
• Prepare and follow Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor workmanship quality and materials on site.
• Support drainage, concrete, foundations, piling works.
• Review drawings to identify potential issues early.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities with teams.
• Work with subcontractors, supervisors and delivery team.
• Ensure activities meet QA, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain engineering records for delivery and commercial teams.
• Assist site team in resolving engineering issues as they arise.
