Job Description:

Your new company

Hays are recruiting on behalf of an NI-based Civil Engineering Contractor who require Site Engineers on a permanent basis to work on their NIW projects, setting out and supervising labour. This company is based in County Fermanagh and boasts over 50 years of civil engineering expertise here in Northern Ireland. They are well placed to continue their rich heritage with future works secured on the N. Ireland Water Framework.

Your new role

Applicants must be degree qualified or have suitable working history in civils works, ideally within Water, but not essential. You must be technically competent at setting out using a total station, taking levels, and using AutoCAD. As a Site Engineer, you should be confident in project delivery and capable of supervising subcontractors, on-site plant, and labour. You will be working across multiple sites, delivering a range of works on the NIW framework including treatment plants, pumping stations, and base maintenance works.

What you'll need to succeed

Applicants must be willing to travel throughout Northern Ireland. The client is seeking a Site Engineer eager to develop their career, detail-oriented, and capable of completing work on time, within budget, and to high standards. A driving license is essential, and experience in civils schemes within the water sector is preferred.

What you'll get in return

The opportunity to work permanently with a leading NI contractor, with a competitive remuneration package. Positions include company vans, fuel, phone, laptop, and other benefits. Long-term projects with Northern Ireland Water are assured, with opportunities for progression into management roles.
