Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer to join a major civils and groundworks contractor on a large distribution centre project in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The project value is around £18 million, with extensive groundworks, foundations, drainage and external infrastructure.

You will provide day-to-day engineering and setting out support, reading drawings, checking levels, QA, and assisting with inspections to keep works on programme and to

• Setting out foundations, drainage, concrete works and external works.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ensuring QA procedures and as-built records are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Setting out foundations, drainage, concrete works and external works.
