Job summary

You'll join a family-owned civil engineering contractor delivering quality work, health and safety compliance, and timely handovers to project managers and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with shaft, concrete and pipe work on civil projects.
• Proven setting-out track record on civil engineering sites.
• Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations.
• Valid CSCS card holder.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Set out detailed works per contract drawings with regular checks.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy.
• Ensure quality control is met and recorded per client specs.
• Provide engineering support to resolve technical problems.
• Conduct pre-start site surveys.
• Ensure timely handover of works and quality records with no outstanding defects.
• Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Perform site calibration checks.
• Assist in resolving unexpected technical difficulties.
