Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in the UK. The role focuses on accurate setting out and dimensional control, resolving technical issues, and producing survey information for As-built records.

You will ensure equipment is calibrated and that construction works comply with contract requirements. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with experience in construction or civil projects and strong surveying/set-out capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Experience as an engineer on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Experience with surveying and setting-out techniques.
• Solid understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurate setting out of the works and dimensional control.
• Resolving technical problems at all levels.
• Carry out inspections in line with the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Produce survey information and as-built drawings.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and maintained.
• Ensure construction operations follow contract requirements and procedures.
• Provide clear information to site personnel and support KPI updates.
