Job summary

ReWork Recruitment Group Ltd in the North East is seeking three experienced Project / Site Engineers to join a major civil engineering project. The roles are suitable for engineers with around 5–7 years of hands-on experience and a strong background in earthworks, substructures, reinforced concrete, drainage and utilities.

You will work on technically demanding packages for an established main contractor known for delivering civil infrastructure, groundworks and concrete works across the UK.

• 5–7 years' site civil engineering experience.
• Strong background in earthworks, substructures, concrete, drainage and utilities.
• Experience with setting out and engineering control.
• QA and technical coordination experience.

Project / Site Engineers – Civil Engineering – Main contractor

North East

3 positions | Immediate starts

We are looking for three experienced Project / Site Engineers to join a major civil engineering project in the North East.

The work is heavily civils focused – substantial earthworks, substructures, utilities, drainage and concrete – and we need engineers who are comfortable working on technically demanding packages and genuinely understand this type of construction.

You will be working for an established specialist main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex civil engineering, infrastructure, groundworks and concrete packages across the UK.

This isn’t one for somebody looking to make their first move into heavy civils.

We are looking for engineers with around 5–7 years’ experience and a strong background in:

• Earthworks and groundworks
• Substructures
• Reinforced concrete
• Drainage and utilities
• Setting out and engineering control
• QA and technical coordination

You might currently be working as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Site Engineer or Section Engineer. The title is less important than having the right technical background.

There are three positions available, with both permanent and freelance options considered.
