Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer for a Civil's project in the Kent area.
The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on Civils projects, including drainage installation, service installation, and RC Structures.
- Have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations, and GPS.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team, ensuring accurate setting out and dimensional control.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specifications.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and that the site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills for distributing project information to colleagues.
- Have strong problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
