Job summary

Quint Construction Services in Oxford seeks an experienced Site Engineer to support earthworks and civils tasks on a ~6-month contract. You’ll perform volume calculations, monitor testing, and produce as-built drawings from drawings and field data.

Responsibilities include extracting data from technical drawings, keeping up-to-date records, and liaising with site teams to ensure works match specifications. The role is weather-dependent and based on site in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Earthworks Engineer and/or Site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of volume calculation methods and earthworks monitoring.
• Competent in using CAD/drawing software to extract data and produce as-built drawings (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Good communication skills for liaising with site teams and reporting.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support site operations across Oxford for an approximate 6-month contract. The role combines earthworks engineering (volume calculations, testing and as-built data monitoring) with civils engineering support (extracting data from drawings and producing as-built drawings). Please note this is a weather-dependent role - earthworks progress may be affected by ground and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Earthworks Engineering

• Undertake volume calculations for cut/fill and earthworks operations
