Job summary

Quint Construction Services in Oxford seeks an experienced Site Engineer to support earthworks and civils tasks on a ~6-month contract. You’ll perform volume calculations, monitor testing, and produce as-built drawings from drawings and field data.

Responsibilities include extracting data from technical drawings, keeping up-to-date records, and liaising with site teams to ensure works match specifications. The role is weather-dependent and based on site in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Earthworks Engineer and/or Site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of volume calculation methods and earthworks monitoring.
• Competent in using CAD/drawing software to extract data and produce as-built drawings (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Good communication skills for liaising with site teams and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Earthworks Engineering: Undertake volume calculations for cut/fill and earthworks operations.
• Monitor and manage compaction/material testing throughout the works.
• Track and manage as-built data as earthworks progress.
• Liaise with site teams to ensure earthworks are executed to specification.
• Site Engineer: Extract and interpret data from technical drawings.
• Produce accurate as-built drawings reflecting completed works.
• Maintain up-to-date records to support project documentation and handover.
