£28,325 per annum

The Role of Site Engineer

  • The role includes assisting and implementing the organisation of projects in the field as well as the office, providing input as directed into the planning aspects to the project.
  • Accountable for field-based logistics including ensuring that the project specification is followed, correct equipment is used and maintained on site, and correct health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Guidance on specific requirements will be given during the employee induction. The Site Engineer is expected to ensure that all technical and site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time and within budget.
  • Key division of time spent on each part of the job will be set on an annual basis and reviewed regularly.
  • Execution of ground investigations.
  • Contract management on site to include delivery of projects on time and to maximize profits from each contract.
  • Maintain an effective line of communication between site and the office.
  • Work with Project Managers and Line Managers to develop personal objectives.

The Right Site Engineer

  • 2 years' experience within the field.
  • BSc in Earth Sciences related degree or similar.
  • SMSTS.
  • Full UK driving license.
