Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a clean water infrastructure project. You will set out and survey cofferdams, oversee pipework installation, manage backfilling and quality control, carry out QA inspections, and produce precise as-built surveys while coordinating with the site team.

The role requires a standalone Site Engineer with civil or utility project experience and valid CSCS and Blue EUSR cards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a standalone Site Engineer on civil or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of clean water pipeline installation, cofferdams, and backfilling operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using surveying equipment and producing as-built surveys.

• Carrying out quality assurance inspections and ensuring works comply with design requirements.
• Producing accurate as-built surveys and maintaining site records.
• Interpreting technical drawings and coordinating engineering activities with the site team.

Site Engineer Requirements

• Previous experience working as a standalone Site Engineer on civil engineering or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of clean water pipeline installation, cofferdams, and backfilling operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using surveying equipment and producing as-built surveys.
• Valid CSCS aswell as a Blue EUSR card.
