New Role for Site Engineer!

We are seeking a Site Engineer for civils and public realm works in the Newcastle area, starting at the end of October.

This Site Engineer role involves setting out, Quality Assurance, and assisting with site management on a large, long-term project in Newcastle. The role focuses on civils, groundworks, and road works, making backgrounds in these areas ideal. It is a freelance position to commence as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of the Site Engineer include:

1. Quality Assurance
2. Setting out on site
3. Working for the main contractor on highways and civils schemes
4. Collaborating closely with the management team and junior engineers on site

The preferred candidate will have:

1. Strong experience in site setting out and QA
2. A good civil engineering or highways background
3. Experience with CAD and office-based engineering roles
4. CSCS Card, PPE, and a clean driving license, as travel to and from site will be required
5. The ability to work safely within a professional team environment
