Job description

Join a leading tier-one contractor on the Southern Water framework as a Site Engineer on projects in the South East of England. You'll handle site engineering duties across projects, including establishing levels, survey control, and setting out detailed works to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, promoting a safe working culture.
  2. Deliver snag-free work while spotting value engineering opportunities.
  3. Set out works, maintain accurate records, and resolve technical challenges.
  4. Produce site documentation, including ITPs, lookaheads, and diaries.
  5. Collaborate with the team and customer representatives to ensure seamless project delivery.

About You
Essential:
  1. Civil engineering degree/HNC or equivalent.
  2. Experience in setting out on civil engineering projects.
  3. Proficient in robotic total station or EDM instruments.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal compliance.
  5. Excellent communication skills with a results-driven mindset.
Desirable:
  1. AutoCAD and MS Office skills.
  2. Temporary works coordination.
  3. CSCS card, first aid training, and cable avoidance training.
