Job summary

Gortmore Ltd, on behalf of a contractor, are seeking a Site Engineer for a Groundworks and RC project in the Luton area. You will be responsible for setting out, dimensional control, and ensuring works comply with the latest design and specifications.

The role requires experience in groundworks, ducting, drainage and RC frames, plus proficiency with laser levels, total stations and GPS. You will monitor QA, maintain the site diary, read drawings, and quantify materials using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Experience on Groundwork’s & RC projects (groundworks, ducting, drainage, RC frames).
• Proficient with Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS.
• Setting out and dimensional control on site.
• Ensure works match latest design and specifications.
• Maintain QA and site diary on site.
• Read drawings and quantify materials using AutoCAD.
• Prepare ITPs, KPIs, RFIs.

Gortmore are working for a contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer’s on a Groundworks and RC project in the Luton area.

The Candidate Must

• Have Previous experience working on Groundwork’s & RC projects on groundworks, Ducting, Drainage and RC Frames.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS’s.
• Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
