Site Engineer Opportunity in Yorkshire!

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Site Engineer ready to take on diverse and challenging civil engineering projects? We're looking for a driven individual to join our growing team, based out of our Yorkshire office, with a focus on highways and roadworks across the region.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of varied civil engineering projects. As a Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in:

• Setting out, levelling, and surveying on site.
• Thoroughly checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
• Overseeing quality control and ensuring strict compliance with specifications and standards.
• Effective liaison with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals.
• Proactively resolving any technical issues that may arise on site.
• Monitoring project progress and producing comprehensive reports.
• Assisting with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensuring steadfast adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
• Maintaining accurate site records and diaries.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly motivated individual with:

• A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with a Civils Contractor.
• Demonstrable experience working on general civils projects.
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.).
• A strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence.
