Job summary

Job description

We are working with a forward-thinking civil engineering and building contractor with an established presence across the UK and Ireland. As their business grows, we are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join their team and help deliver high-value civil engineering projects. What you\'ll be doing
  • Take full responsibility for the delivery of civil engineering projects
  • Ensure all site activities follow company SHEQ policies and approved RAMS
  • Set out and level using GPS and total station equipment
  • Build strong working relationships with management, subcontractors, and clients
  • Maintain accurate daily records of labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors
  • Produce weekly/monthly progress reports and monitor programme risks
  • Ensure project documentation, drawings, and specifications are up to date
  • Assist in developing short-term programmes and communicate schedules to the supply chain
  • Record, monitor, and submit non-conformance reports (NCRs)
What we're looking for
  • Essential:
  • HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent technical knowledge of civil engineering best practices
  • Willingness to travel and work across the UK
  • Desirable:
  • BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
