Job summary

Carmichael UK is recruiting a Night Shift Site Engineer for a major Heathrow Airport infrastructure project on a night shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile aviation scheme with a leading contractor.

You will set out and survey works, maintain accurate site records and QA documentation, liaise with management and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting-out skills with Leica and/or Trimble equipment.
• Experience with QA, as-builts, and site documentation.
• CSCS Card.
• Airside clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works across the project.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport on a night shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile aviation scheme with a leading contractor.

The Role

• Setting out and surveying works across the project
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
• Managing QA documentation, inspections, and ITPs
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with specifications
• Supporting the delivery team with progress reporting and technical queries

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out skills using Leica and/or Trimble equipment
• Experience with QA, as-builts, and site documentation
• CSCS Card
• Heathrow Airport experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to obtain/hold relevant airside clearances
