Position Overview

Reporting to the Project Manager, the key requirements include:

• 3rd level qualification in an engineering-related discipline
• 3-5+ years of experience with a main contractor

Responsibilities

• Providing technical advice related to projects
• Applying designs and plans to mark out the site
• Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site
• Determining the location of above and underground infrastructural installations
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Ensuring materials and work performed meet specifications
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and equipment
• Managing and interpreting contract design documents
• Liaising with clients, design team members, and local authorities
• Proposing solutions for technical difficulties
• Representing the interests of the client and Collen
• Organizing professional teams working on the project
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Ensuring the project adheres to schedule and budget
• Maintaining an efficient construction site
• Delivering high-quality projects
• Collaborating with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safe construction practices

Strong time management, communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to prepare reports are essential for this role.
