Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled Rail Site Engineer to join their dynamic team for an exciting HS2 project. This role involves working on a significant £1.6 billion station project, focusing on utilities diversions and the construction of bridges and ramps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in rail projects, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure initiative while working with a Tier 1 contractor known for its long-term projects and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification required.
  • Experience in Site Engineering on rail projects is essential.

Job description

Are you a Rail Site Engineer with experience working on utilities diversions on heavy civils projects, including bridges and structures?

Are you looking for your next contract to work on HS2?

Location: London
Rate: £350/day, Umbrella, Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months, work bank until 2026

Due to additional works being awarded, my client is looking to add a Site Engineer to their team to work on a £1.6b HS2 station project for the next 2 years. The package of works is worth £80m and will include the construction of bridges and ramps, and utilities diversions.

Requirements:

  1. Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering.
  2. SSSTS.
  3. PTS preferred.
  4. Worked as a Site Engineer on a Network Rail project.
  5. Experience working on bridges or structures on rail projects.
  6. Experience working on Highways and Utilities projects, ideally rail utilities or enabling works.
  7. Experience working from ITP's and WPP's.
  8. Experience setting out, using CAT and Genny.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a Tier 1 contractor with a large, long-term work bank for CP7.
