Site Engineer

A fantastic opportunity to join a regional Civil Engineering contractor with an ever-growing presence in Devon and Somerset. My client is recruiting a Site Engineer to work on highway infrastructure schemes, with values ranging from 2M to 15M, for local authorities.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Have experience of setting out using robotic total stations on civil engineering schemes.
• Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on site.
• Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that the project works comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings, and maintain appropriate records to confirm such compliance.

Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
• Experience of setting out on highway projects.
• A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of AutoCAD.

Salary and benefits include:

• 45,000 - 55,000 per annum
• Company vehicle/car allowance
