Site Engineer

Contractor with long term project work in Somerset require a Site Engineer to assist with numerous water related Civils projects on a water framework.

Duties:

1. Setting out of Groundworks, infrastructure, pipelines, RC structures etc.
2. Liaising with the groundworks teams to provide dimensional control information.
3. Assisting with upholding quality standards.

The selected candidate will ideally have a minimum HNC level qualification in a Construction/Engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate experience working with main contractors on projects where R.C., earthworks & Temporary Works etc. are prevalent.

The assignment will continue for a minimum of 8 months for the right person with the prospect of further work beyond that if candidates prove suitable.

Day rate will be competitive and in line with experience.
