Overview

The client are a leading printing and mail company that produce business continuity and security print solutions for several industry sectors such as insurance, retail, banking, utility etc. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join their team in the Droitwich area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site
• Repair of mailing and printing machinery and other associated equipment within the facility.
• Maintain, support and service any piece of production associated equipment, mailers, guillotines, folding machinery, book makers etc.
• Liaise with production management on machine performance, problems and improvements
• Promote continuous improvement.
• Be a pro active member of the team.
• Maintain correct administration of parts usage.
• Ensure all maintenance works and tasks are logged correctly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working in a maintenance role within a fast production environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills - able to read both mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Good diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• Proactive and a sound problem solver.
• Team player.
• Computer literate.
• Able to pass a DBS check.

Details

The role is on Days and is Monday to Friday (7am to 3pm).
