Position: Site Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire Area
Industry: Construction (RC Projects)
Contractor: Leading Main Contractor

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team for exciting and large-scale Reinforced Concrete (RC) projects in the Cambridgeshire area. As a key player on-site, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality construction works within a safe and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of RC project sites, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.

  • Conduct site surveys, set out, and provide accurate technical guidance.

  • Supervise and monitor the quality of construction works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and health & safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with the project manager, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project progress.

  • Maintain accurate records, including daily site reports, progress reports, and material deliveries.

  • Provide technical support and solve on-site issues related to engineering and construction.

  • Liaise with the client and other stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with a background in RC projects or similar civil engineering works.

  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering standards.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on-site.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve challenges.

  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
