EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are seeking a Site Engineer with Earthworks experience to join our Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) section in the Brackley area.
In this role, you will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. You will work with other members of the setting-out team, oversee the performance and development of junior engineers, and identify and resolve technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent. Additionally, you will monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure their works meet contractual requirements. You will ensure the team has all current information and resources needed and assist with producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
