Job summary

Bond Recruit is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Wiltshire. The role focuses on setting out deep drainage, pumping stations and associated works, with QA documentation and as-built surveys.

You will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver engineering drawings, site levels and coordinates to project specifications. A valid CSCS card and Proficient use of Topcon surveying equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Engineer on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in deep drainage and pumping stations.
• Competent with Topcon surveying equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good QA procedures and site documentation.
• Valid CSCS card.
• AutoCAD experience advantageous.

The Opportunity

Bond Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure project in Wiltshire.

The project involves extensive deep drainage, 278, pumping stations and associated groundworks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer looking for a long-term freelance position.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for deep drainage, pumping stations and associated civil engineering works.
• Carrying out accurate setting out using Topcon surveying equipment.
• Managing site levels, coordinates and engineering drawings.
• Completing QA documentation, inspections and as-built surveys.
• Working closely with the Site Manager and project delivery team.
• Ensuring all engineering works are completed accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving engineering issues on site.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in deep drainage and pumping station construction.
• Competent using Topcon surveying equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Experience with AutoCAD would be advantageous
