Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental and Facilities Specialist to review, develop, implement, and monitor the site’s safety management systems ensuring staff, visitors and contractors are protected.

The role is based onsite in Wotton, Surrey, with must-have transport due to rural location. You will support EHS standards, assist in ESG requests, and help with training, audits, and KPI reporting while liaising with line managers and contractors.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to present data clearly using MS Office.
• Strong communication and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS standards through management systems and improvements.
• Assist in corporate ESG information requests for the business.
• Lead or support incident investigations and near-miss reporting.
• Develop EHS training content and SOPs as required.
• Organise and participate in health & safety training and fire drills.
