Job summary

NextPharma Edinburgh is seeking an EHS and Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead to own the site’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability programs and CI initiatives. This role provides management, oversight, and direction of EHS/CI strategies in collaboration with corporate leads, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with NextPharma policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in safety and/or environmental/ engineering roles in pharmaceutical/chemical environments.
• Degree in environmental, safety, chemical engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience delivering Lean/Operational Excellence in regulated operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive EHS and sustainability programs for the site.
• Lead CI projects from ideation to implementation across site operations.
• Provide expert guidance on safety, health, environmental issues and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a culture of EHS, CI and operational excellence with strong cross-functional collaboration.
