Job description

CK Group are recruiting for a Site Dispatch Chemist to join a Hazardous Waste Management company at their site based in the West Midlands on a full time, permanent basis for a salary of £26,000.

As a Site Dispatch Chemist, you will accept and inspect all incoming assignments of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste by following the relevant regulations and site procedures.

The role will involve working 40 hours per week, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.

Please note, this role will be based outdoors and indoors.

Location:
The Site Dispatch Chemist will be based at the company's site near Walsall and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Coventry.

Site Dispatch Chemist Role:
As a Site Dispatch Chemist, the main purpose of your role will be:

1. Labelling and processing waste.
2. Completing waste safety checks.
3. Sampling of received waste for internal laboratory analysis.
4. Using SAP system to record waste acceptance.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Degree or HNC Qualification in Chemistry or a similar related field - essential
2. Experience of working with Hazardous Waste - essential
3. Willingness to work hands-on, outdoors, in a hazardous chemical environment - essential
4. SAP experience - desirable
5. FLT Licence holder (Forklift) - desired
