Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a dynamic Site Director to lead our Bodmin operation in Cornwall. You will be accountable for site performance, safety, quality, customer service, and financial delivery, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

As a senior manufacturing leader, you will drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while inspiring a high-performing team across functions to achieve strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven responsibility for site-wide operations and P&L performance.
• Strong track record of leading large teams and developing leadership capability.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Passion for creating high-performing teams and positive site cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of site operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
• Deliver site strategy aligned with wider business objectives and drive operational excellence.
• Manage budgets, profitability, and cost control initiatives at the Bodmin site.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing management team and succession plans.

Driving a strong culture of Health & Safety, food safety, quality, and compliance. Managing site financial performance, budgets, profitability, and cost control initiatives. Leading and developing a multi-functional management team, creating robust succession plans and future leaders. Driving Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement programmes. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Ensuring excellent service levels, operational reliability, and customer satisfaction. Championing a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the site.

About You – Essential Qualifications
