Job summary

Infrastructure Gateway Ltd. in Wellingborough is seeking a Driver Facilities to ensure the safe and timely delivery and collection of stock between company locations and field operations.

You will interact with customer staff and colleagues across departments, requiring clear communication, reliability and a customer‑focused approach to keep deliveries coordinated and on schedule. The role demands attention to road safety, daily vehicle checks, and flexible teamwork, with full-time permanent

Qualifications

• A full driving licence with B+E entitlement.
• Experience in driving and safely transporting stock, equipment, or materials.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal departments.
• Good organisational and time-management skills to manage deliveries and collections.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations.
• Reliability, flexibility and a strong commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all road traffic legislation.
• Safe loading and secure transport of materials.
• Deliver materials to building sites safely.
• Observe site regulations and maintain order.
• Review orders for completeness before/after delivery.
• Photograph orders left on site.
• Keep a clean and tidy vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Complete daily trailer checks.
• Report faults promptly.
• Collect surplus materials from site.
• Collate surplus materials for third party drivers.
• Note, report and photograph surplus materials left on site.
• Complete paperwork or reports recording deliveries/collections.
• Comply with Health and Safety Legislation at all times.
• Participate in team meetings.
• From time to time work as warehouse operative.
