Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Limited on-site in Redcar is seeking a Crane Supervisor to supervise and coordinate all lifting operations. • Must monitor compliance with health, safety and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.
• Ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with approved lift plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Coordinate with Appointed Persons, crane operators, slinger/signallers and site management teams.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with health, safety and project requirements.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand their responsibilities.
• Verify that lifting equipment, accessories and cranes are suitable and correctly certified.
• Identify and address potential hazards associated with lifting activities.
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with site procedures and industry standards.
