Job summary

Hexeal Chemicals Limited, a Norfolk-based manufacturer and online retailer, is seeking a practical Compliance Manager to own compliance across manufacturing, production and warehousing. This broad, hands-on role covers health & safety, product compliance, quality control and site standards.

You will work with Directors and site teams to ensure safe, compliant operations; you will actively identify risks, inspect facilities, coordinate audits and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading compliance across a manufacturing site.
• Ability to conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the business complies with relevant UK legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance records, policies, registers and documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions.
• Take day-to-day ownership of Health & Safety across the site.
• Maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, policies and Safe Systems of Work.
• Coordinate fire safety, electrical and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a register of plant, machinery and inspection schedules.
• Support compliance with PUWER, LOLER and other applicable requirements.
• Review product classifications, labels and safety data sheets.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and records.
• Work with production on product quality and development.
