Job summary

Unilever Port Sunlight is seeking a Site Communications, Events and Engagement Specialist to shape how colleagues experience Port Sunlight Sourcing Units. You will lead integrated communications, recognition and events across Home Care and Personal Care, turning business priorities into engaging experiences for shift-based teams.

You will partner with site leadership, HR and functional teams to deliver strategic, measurable outcomes, from campaigns to community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading internal communications, employee engagement, events or related discipline.
• Experience creating and delivering communications plans, campaigns, newsletters and leadership messages across multiple channels.
• Experience managing events or engagement activity end to end, including suppliers, budgets, logistics and delivery.
• Evidence of independently prioritising a broad portfolio, influencing stakeholders and delivering through others.
• Experience working in a complex organisation with multiple audiences; manufacturing, supply chain or another operational environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own site communications and engagement plan for Port Sunlight Sourcing Units.
• Translate updates into clear communications for factory-based colleagues.
• Create and manage content across emails, newsletters, noticeboards, digital screens, internal platforms, and social channels.
• Advise site leadership with editorial judgement and practical plans for campaigns and change activity.
• Maintain forward communications and events calendar, prepping leaders and stakeholders.
• Create high-quality written and visual content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
• Manage sensitive communications with HR, leadership, SHE and functional teams.
• Lead employer-branding activities to attract diverse talent and support careers events.
