Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Site Cleaning Supervisor working at an office site in Reading, RG12 area.

The Cleaning Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning staff, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards, maintaining health and safety protocols, and managing supplies and equipment at the cleaning site.

The role involves coordinating daily cleaning activities, providing hands-on support, and acting as the point of contact between the cleaning staff and management.

Hours: On average 15 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 18:00 - 21:00.

Pay rate: £13.21 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.
  • Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
  • Sweep, mop, and polish showroom floors to maintain cleanliness and shine.
  • Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including windows, glass doors, counters, and furniture.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap).
  • Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Ensure recycling guidelines are followed where applicable.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Skills required:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
