Job Title: Site Cleaning Manager

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday; flexible start/finish times for business needs

Hours: 40 hrs a week

Contract: Permanent position

We have a new opportunity!

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Site Cleaning Manager to oversee the operational delivery of janitorial services at the site, building excellent relationships with the client and your team whilst maintaining a high-quality service output.

• An understanding of cleaning, waste, and forklift truck activities.
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the site in terms of layout, fit-out, working hours, and operating times to create and adapt cleaning schedules.
• Manage all staff on-site, ensuring a consistent delivery of hours in line with the site budget.
• Administer payroll for hourly paid staff, both direct employees and agency, in line with company procedures and targets.
• Create and promote a positive safety culture on-site where hazards are proactively recorded and a lessons-learned approach is taken to limit accidents and incidents.
• Have a thorough understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.
• Achieve excellent cleaning standards, exceeding client expectations, evidenced through weekly cleaning standards audits undertaken with the client. Act upon any potential failings and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvements by seeking innovations, identifying efficiencies, and negotiating with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and place orders as required within the site budget.
• Ensure all equipment is well-cleaned, well-maintained, and safe, and operated in line with site requirements.

• Experience working in a Cleaning/Healthcare setting.
• Experience in management, ideally of large teams.
• Someone adaptable, motivated, and organized with excellent timekeeping.
• An engaging and enthusiastic personality with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• IOSH Managing Safety or comparable qualification - or willingness to complete within the first month of employment.
• Must be able to complete a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
