Job description

ATCS is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Site/Civil (Land Development) Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our team in Largo, MD location. The organization provides a hybrid work environment with a few days per week required onsite.

This is an exciting opportunity to support and play a critical role in our Largo operations. The role will require a flexible mindset and cooperative team-oriented attitude with progressively increasing management capabilities.

You'll spend your time:

  • Providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development opportunities to the project team
  • Driving quality deliverables on-time and on-budget
  • Developing innovative technical land development design solutions
  • Negotiating scopes and fees, billing and collections
  • Engaging in strong client relationships through frequent communications
  • Directing and facilitating the completion of diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development

About you:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering
  • You hold professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia, DC, and/or Maryland
  • You have 10+ years of land development design experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience a plus
  • You are a self-starter who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • You have strong working relationships with developers, attorneys, land planners, and architects
  • You are well-versed in state and municipal design and development processes
  • You interact effectively with municipal approval authorities
  • You are proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and SWM H&H Routing/Modeling
  • You ideally have experience in Virginia, DC, and/or Maryland - specifically, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, or Montgomery Counties

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $99,000 to $148,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary. In addition to compensation, ATCS offers outstanding, employee-focused benefits for you and your family. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits coverage on the first day of the month following their start date.
