Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is looking for a qualified Project Engineer to manage a large-scale industrial project in Portsmouth. The role involves overseeing earthworks, steel frame, and structural packages for a project valued at £200 million, with work expected to last until 2027.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience on similar sites, particularly with main contractors on projects exceeding £15 million. A valid CSCS certificate is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on construction sites, particularly on industrial or steel framed projects worth more than £5 million.
• Proficient in CSCS, robotic EDM, and CAD.
• Experience with tier 1 main contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bulk earthworks and external works during the project.
• Coordinate with contractors for piling, ground works, and structural steel frame.
• Set out and ensure quality assurance for various civil and structural external packages.
