Job summary

EDF Energy offers a 12‑month Project Planning Industrial Placement at the Heysham 2 Power Station in Lancashire. You will support planning, scheduling and commercial tasks within the Outage Planning team and gain hands-on experience in a live site environment.

You must be on track for or have a 2:2 in Project Management or Engineering, with the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship may be possible in some cases.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be on track to achieve or have a 2:2 in Project Management or Engineering.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
• Security Vetting may be required; UK residence in the last 3 of the past 5 years is typically needed.
• Sponsorship may be possible, but priority given to those with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling and commercial aspects under guidance of project managers.
• Support site-based outage planning at Heysham 2 Power Station.
• Learn from experienced professionals and develop hands-on skills in energy project delivery.
