Job description

Job Title: Site Based Project Manager

Location: South East England

Salary & Benefits: £50,000-£60,000 per annum, Car Allowance, Healthcare, Discretionary Bonus

Certification Requirements:
  1. CSCS Black Card
  2. First Aid Certification
  3. Asbestos Awareness
  4. Fire Warden Certification
Projects:
  1. Distribution & Logistic Projects, Externals, Internals, Civils
  2. Job values ranging from £2-£4M.
Team Structure:

Site setup will entail the Site Based Project Manager, a Site Manager, a Quantity Surveyor, and a Visiting Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and run the project, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  2. Manage client meetings and foster positive relationships.
  3. Chair progress meetings and contractors' reports.
  4. Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and adapt to design changes.
  5. Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors (QS) for financial management.
  6. Focus on refit and civil engineering projects within logistics and distribution.
Preferred Experience:
  1. Familiarity with logistics, distribution, and warehouse environments.
  2. Working on civils, externals, and distribution projects.
  3. Project value experience up to £5M.
  4. Based in or local to the South East.
  5. 4+ years at Project Manager level.
  6. Happy to be site based Monday-Friday.
