Job summary

Marshall Land Systems recruits Mechanical Fitters to join our Merthyr Tydfil facility. Roles available on contract and permanent bases. Salary on offer is £35,000 per year, with alternative contract rates of £17.67 or £23.88 per hour via Umbrella.

Assessment days on 16th and 17th September will include individual, group assessments and a trade test. The Mechanical Fitter will inspect, refurbish and repair shelter units, support refurbishment and assembly activities, and ensure work meets safety,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a mechanical fitting or assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in a quality-controlled or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, refurbish, repair shelter units to meet specs and safety requirements.
• Assist assembly and installation of new containers and related systems.
• Follow engineering drawings and work instructions; use hand and power tools safely.
