Job summary

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Compliance Technologist in the Chippenham area of Wiltshire. This 100% site-based role offers a competitive DOE salary and benefits, with the site near Trowbridge.

The role involves supporting the Regulatory and Labelling Supervisor, ensuring accurate labels, specs and project work, and reviewing supplier information to meet COP and legislation within the site’s BRC framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/Technical role within food manufacturing.
• Understanding of labelling regulations and specifications.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures and EU regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers to ensure technical information is accurate and detailed for site approval.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure information is accurate and amendments are handled promptly.
• Respond promptly to technical queries from customers and maintain records.
• Maintain and review supplier records and audits for raw materials, packaging and cheese suppliers.
• Create specifications for new products and maintain the specification database.
• Utilise electronic specification systems (Food Logic and Trace gains) for documentation.
• Create, review and approve artwork against market regulations.
