North Ayrshire Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Waste Services team at the Isle of Arran. The successful candidate will assist with waste disposal at the Household Waste Recycling Centre and Waste Transfer Station, requiring manual handling skills and safety awareness. Full training will be provided as part of the onboarding process.

The Waste Services team on the Isle of Arran is seeking an adaptable, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join their small team. The successful candidate will assist at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) and the Waste Transfer Station (WTS) in Brodick, ensuring customers dispose of waste safely and correctly. Prior experience in manual handling, awareness of working in a live traffic environment, and some experience operating plant are desirable, but full training will be provided. Working hours are fixed at 07:30-16:00 Monday to Friday and 07:00-12:00 on Saturdays, totaling 42.5 hours per week (37 hours regular, with overtime).
