Job summary

Shireland Biomedical UTC / Shireland CBSO Academy is seeking a Site Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and secure school environment across two sites. You will manage opening/closing, event setup, alarms, and general site tasks.

The role involves adhering to health and safety procedures, assisting with painting, repairs and equipment setup for shows and exams, and undertaking training such as fire safety and manual handling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Academy as required
• Set up and pack away tables/chairs for mock and public examinations
• Switch alarms on/off as and when required
• Assist with general site activities/tasks e.g. painting, repairs, maintenance
• Set up equipment/resources e.g. for shows and events in Sport Hall
• Follow H+S procedures to ensure site safety e.g. inclement weather
• Ensure site cleanliness e.g. empty bins, clean spillages
• Undergo any further training where necessary e.g. fire safety, manual handling

SALARY: Band C SCP 5 - 8 £25,584 - £26,824 per annum

HOURS: 37 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are looking for a Site Assistant to assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment. This role will be based across two schools within our Trust - Shireland Biomedical UTC and Shireland CBSO Academy.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Open and close the Academy as required
