Job summary

Randstad CPE are recruiting a Site Agent to oversee Self Delivery civils works in West London on a prestigious High Speed rail project. The successful candidate will have a strong civils background and experience working in a Self Delivery sub-contractor environment.

The role focuses on coordinating in-house labour, plant and materials, driving programmes, managing costs, enforcing safety and delivering quality assurance in line with drawings and ITPs. The rate is £500-£550 CIS/LTD Outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Strong civils background in self-delivery sub-contractor environment.
• Experience overseeing civils works on rail/high-speed project.
• Direct labour, plant and materials coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Resource Management: coordinate and allocate in-house labour, plant, and materials to maximise daily site productivity.
• Commercial & Cost Control: Track daily operational costs, plant hire, and material usage, and record scope variations
• Programme Delivery: Drive short-term operational schedules (e.g., 3-week look-aheads) and monitor daily output in line with the main contractor's master programme.
• Strict Safety & Compliance: Enforce site-specific health and safety protocols (RAMS, daily briefings, inductions) and ensure all direct operatives comply with industry regulations.
• Quality & Technical Assurance: Ensure work matches engineering drawings and specifications, and manage the quality sign-off processes (ITPs)
