Site Agent – Infrastructure

Salary: £45000 - £55000
Location: South East London

We are looking to recruit an experienced site agent to work for one of the UK’s leading contractors. You will be based in South East London working on major projects throughout the area.

Duties include:

1. Producing all safety documents – Work Package Plans, Construction Phase Plans, Task Briefs
2. Managing construction interfaces and holding regular review meetings with the contractors
3. Reviewing and implementing an audit programme
4. Managing design interfaces and holding regular review meetings with the design team
5. Subcontract management
6. Managing costs, targets and improvements
7. Implementing change management that aligns with the contract and interfaces with risk management
8. Managing risk and opportunity on each project
9. Overall responsibility for the delivery of projects and programmes in line with the agreed budgets
10. Monitoring and maintaining performance against KPI’s developing improvement action plans and implementing changes
11. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and estimating target costs
12. Engaging with the commercial team on the procurement strategy, supplier engagement and estimating
13. Managing the preparation of procurement and contract documents with the commercial and procurement team
14. Producing hand back files

Required Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:

1. Civil Engineering or Construction HNC/HND/Degree
2. Experience of delivering civil engineering projects at Site Agent/Project Manager level
3. Ability to write and produce WPP, CPP & Task Briefs
4. SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid

Must have civils/highways/structures or solid infrastructure project experience.
