About the role

At Balfour Beatty, we're proud to deliver critical highways improvements across the UK. We are currently seeking a Site Agent to join our Regional Civils team on the A22 Corridor improvement programme in Eastbourne.

This high-profile highways scheme aims to enhance capacity, safety, and connectivity on one of South East's busiest routes. As a Site Agent, you will play a key role in the leadership team, ensuring the project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead site operations to ensure the project is delivered on time
  • Coordinate Sub Contractors and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Planners, and stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager
  • Manage QA across the project
Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

  • BSc/HNC in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience as a Site Agent on a Civil Engineering Project
  • An SMSTS Ticket and First Aid certification
  • Good stakeholder management experience
  • Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor (beneficial)
